The Conference
Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), will be organizing the 1st International Conference on Media and Social Sciences or also known as iCOMS 2019. Prospective authors are invited to submit their research paper. We will be accepting research papers in the language of Bahasa Melayu and English. All accepted papers will be peer-reviewed and considered (subject to recommendations by reviewers based on quality and content suitability) for publication in MyCite, SCOPUS and WoS indexed journal with additional fees.
iCOMS is your once a year opportunity to access the best information and discovering new ideas on integrated communication and social sciences. You’ll get irreplaceable opportunities to connect with your peers from all over the country and all over the globe. iCOMS 2019 will be held from August 21st to 22nd 2019, at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam.
About Us
The Faculty of Communication and Media Studies of the Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia (UiTM) will be hosting and organizing the International Conference on Media and Social Science (iCOMS 2019) in Shah Alam, Malaysia from 21st-22nd August 2019 with the theme, Navigating the Future of Integrated Communication.
The conference dates recommended are around August plus it is based on the Malaysian public university schedule. Universities will be in full swing at this time and there should be no conflict with public holidays or examinations. We will be able to attract academics from the majority of universities in Malaysia and in South East Asia in this period and we hope to also attract international presenters and participants from Asia-Pacific, Middle-East and the rest of the world. We expect an estimated number of 200 participants for this conference.
